Billy Bob Thornton-led series Landman has been renewed for season three – just weeks after the second season’s launch.
The Taylor Sheridan series, which follows the life and class of those involved in the oil rig industry, has broken viewing records on Paramount+ since its first launch in 2024.
The second season saw more than 9.2million people tune in to the first episode when it premiered on November 16th.
It’s now become the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+.
With new episodes launching every Sunday on Paramount+, it’s now been confirmed the streaming service is not yet done with the world of M-Tex Oil.
The series stars Billy Bob Thornton as leading man Tommy Norris, who is in charge of the M-Tex oil rigs.
Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter and Sam Elliott also lead the cast as those in Tommy’s professional and personal orbit, as he struggles to balance the demands of the job and his complicated family life.
Additional cast includes: Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.
Landman continues Sundays and is available to stream on Paramount+.
