Glen Powell is going back undercover after Disney+ and Hulu confirmed Chad Powers will be back for a second season.

The series, based on ESPN’s Eli’s Places segment, follows Powell as Russ Holiday, a quarterback who tries to get back in the game as a pro after a huge mistake torpedoed his career.

At a loss in life, Russ decides to take it upon himself to get back in the game by anything necessary.

Taking on the persona of Chad Powers, complete with disguise, Russ tries to finally live out his dream as part of struggling team, South Georgia Catfish.

However, as he grows close to the team and those around them, and makes enemies of others, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up the ruse.

Chad Powers debuted in September 2025, and ran for six half-hour episodes.

The series also stars Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Coach Jake Hudson.

Chad Powers is available on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
