Actor Nicholas Bailey – best known for playing Dr Anthony Trueman on EastEnders – has become the fourth celebrity announced to take part in the Strictly Come Dancing’s 2025 Christmas Special.

The star will be dancing with professional dancer Luba Mushtuk.

Speaking about his upcoming appearance, he said: “I’m really excited to be doing this, almost as excited as my wife and daughters are!

“Hopefully I’ll do them, Albert Square and Luba proud. Bring on the dancefloor.”

The 54-year-old actor first appeared on EastEnders back in 2003 before leaving in 2005.

He has since made guest appearances, but returned to the soap in August this year.

Nicholas joins Scarlett Moffatt, Melanie Blatt and Jodie Ounsley (aka Fury from Gladiators) in this year’s Strictly’s festive line-up.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Christmas.
