Brian McFadden has been confirmed as the sixth and final star for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special.
The singer is best known for being a singer in Westlife, and later Boyzlife – a supergroup combining members of Boyzone and Westlife.
Speaking about his involvement, Brian said: “I’m delighted to be a part of the Strictly Christmas special.
“We are big fans of Strictly in our house so to be dancing on Christmas Day on such a magical show will make it a Christmas to remember.”
Brian will dance with Strictly professional Michelle Tsiakkas for his festive routine.
On top of his time in Westlife – which achieved 12 No.1 singles throughout their run – Brian is a solo artist who has released four solo albums.
He’s also previously judged Australia’s Got Talent, guest judged on Australian Idol, and presented Who’s Doing The Dishes? for ITV.
Brian completes the Strictly Christmas line-up, joining Scarlett Moffatt, Melanie Blatt, Jodie Ounsley aka Fury, Nicholas Bailey, and Babatunde Aléshé.
Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Christmas.
