Netflix have dropped a first look at 50 Cent’s new documentary series about Diddy.
The singer – real name Sean Combs – was a hip-hop icon who has now become infamous for a string of crimes he was convicted of earlier this year.
Known across his career as Puff Daddy, Diddy and Love, the documentary aims to shine a light on the ‘real Sean Combs’ by those who knew him.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson executive produces the series, with Emmy Award-winning Alexandria Stapleton acting as director.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning is billed as an examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender, who was born with an insatiable drive for stardom and a knack for spotting talent.
Rising through the music industry as a whole with company Bad Boy Entertainment, he was credited throughout the 90s for helping bringing hip-hop into a mainstream spotlight.
But as he helped shape the career of iconic artists including The Notorious B.I.G, Mary J Blige and more, a darker side of his personality began to shine through behind the scenes.
Across four, hour-long episodes, Sean Combs: The Reckoning will feature never-before-seen footage from his career and interviews with those that know or have known him.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning premieres December 2nd on Netflix.
