Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington have become the seventh couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2025
The pair found themselves at the bottom of the scoreboard after Saturday’s live show, and following a public vote had to face a dance-off against Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

Balvinder and Julian performed their American Smooth to ‘My Guy’ by Mary Wells, before Vicky and Kai performed their Jive to Girls Aloud’s Sound of the Underground.
After the duos performed their routines again, the judges voted unanimously to save Balvinder and Julian – meaning the couple have survived their fourth head-to-head.
Speaking about her time on the show, Vicky told Tess Daly: “It was so lovely while it lasted, and I’ve had the nicest time. I knew this week was a difficult one for me, and I tried my hardest as I have every week.
“Listen, I didn’t think I’d get past week one, and I’m really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people. Mostly with this fella [Kai] right here.”
Praising her partner, she said: “I don’t want to sound too cheesy but you’ve been the best partner a girl can ask for. I’m so sorry I didn’t get you to Blackpool but I feel like I’ve won just by having you as my partner and I’m so grateful.”
In response, Kai told Vicky: “You are everything that this series is about. Strong, confident, independent – and all that I can say is, I have loved every single second. I’m going to be gutted not coming to Blackpool with you on Monday.
“But I just want you to know that I feel like I have also won getting you as my partner, and you will live on in Strictly history forever.”
The remaining contestants are now all through to next week – the annual Blackpool Special, where four previous finalists will return to the Tower Ballroom for a special performance.
Kai and Vicky will discuss their exit on spin-off chat show Strictly: It Takes Two on Monday (17th November).
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One, and is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
