David Tennant and more added to Netflix’s ‘Thursday Murder Club’ cast

The Thursday Murder Club has added a new host of famous faces – with David Tennant and more joining in on the Netflix mystery.

The British series, based on the books by Richard Osman, follows a group of friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun.

However, they soon find themselves in over their heads as they’re caught in a real case.

The new names joining the cast are:

  • David Tennant (Good Omens, Doctor Who, Jessica Jones)
  • Jonathan Pryce (Glengarry Glenross, The Crown, 3 Body Problem)
  • Naomi Ackie (The End of the F**king World, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Master Of None)
  • Daniel Mays (Franklin, Code 404, The Magpie Murders)
  • Henry Lloyd-Hughes (Killing Eve, We Were The Lucky Ones, The English Game)

Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie have already been confirmed to be leading the cast.

Mirren plays ex-spy Elizabeth, Sir Kingsley is ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim, Pierce Brosnan will appear as former union activist Ron, and Celia Imrie is ex-nurse Joyce.

The Thursday Murder Club is due to arrive on Netflix in 2025.
