Knives Out director Rian Johnson has shared a first look photo of Daniel Craig back in business as Benoit Blanc in the third instalment in the franchise.

Always dapper no matter the situation, Blanc is seen a little more dishevelled than normal, growing a straggly beard with long hair – but still a finely tailored suit.

Johnson shared the black and white picture, alongside the caption: “Aaaaand we’re off! Today is day 1 of shooting on the next Benoit Blanc mystery ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ – see you on the other side.”

Wake Up Dead Man, which has yet to be given a release date, has kept to its mysterious ways with little known about the film.

Production on the film began today, as always with an all-star cast on hand to provide the perfect whodunnit.
