Sky Atlantic launches ‘House Of The Dragon’ watchathon ahead of season 2

House Of The Dragon will be airing in full in an all-day watch-a-thon on Sky Atlantic.

Ahead of season two, Sky and NOW is giving you the perfect opportunity to catch up on all of the action you might have missed as Westeros prepares for a Greens Vs. Blacks war of the Targaryen family.

The Watchathon will be taking flight early doors on May 12th on Sky Atlantic, with episode one airing at 9:45am.

All 10 episodes will then air back to back, ending with the finale at 8pm that evening – the perfect Sunday entertainment to get your claws stuck into.

Now you have no excuse not to get fired-up ahead of the premiere of season two on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW on June 17th.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood and set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series tells the story of House Targaryen as it threatens to tear itself apart over claims to the Iron Throne and control of the Seven Kingdoms.

Season one stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, and Rhys Ifans.

After the drama and bloodshed of season one, season two promises to offer even more twists and turns; Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively.

As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, the Green and Black trailers reflect those two perspectives in separate yet complementary halves of the same story. For global audiences, “All Must Choose” their side of House Targaryen as the realm fractures in season two.

For those looking to catch up on season one that can’t make the Watchathon, all episodes are currently available to watch on demand or with a NOW Entertainment Membership for just £9.99 per month.
